Aerospace manufacturing engineering

Aircraft maintainance engineer

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course is a program designed to train individuals to become certified aircraft maintenance engineers. The course typically consists of both theoretical and practical training, covering topics such as aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulations. The course is usually 2400 hours in length, and upon completion, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to pass the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Govt of India licensing exam and become certified AMEs.

Aircraft structural repair

Aircraft maintainace and avionics

This program has been designed to enable students to enhance their education and build upon their aircraft maintenance skills with an additional specification in Avionics. The first two years of the program are common with the Aviation Technician- Aircraft Maintenance program. 

Commercial pilot

CPL course duration of 8-10 months that includes 80 hours for academic sessions on ground and 200 hours on flying training. There are three stages in training: Ground Training, Simulator Training, and Flying Training. This Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician program consists of 38 weeks of full-time studies. Approximately 40 per cent of the day is spent on theory discussions in a classroom setting, followed by hands-on practical training

Diploma in ground staff and cabin crew training

This Diploma course is aimed at training students to take on roles of Air Hostess, Steward on Flights. The course duration varies, but is generally 6 months or 1 year long.

Diploma in airfare and ticketing management

Diploma in Airfare and Ticketing Management is a civil aviation course of duration 6 months. It is a process of providing a document by the airline to confirm the seating of the individual. This course will lead one to an Office/Reception/Front desk job, where working hours are fixed and the workload is not very high.

BSc aviation

The course of B.Sc. in Aviation is an undergraduate degree that deals with the flying of aircraft. The duration of the whole course is 3 years, further divided into 6 semesters. There are a total of 6 subjects in the course of BSc in Aviation.

BBA in airport management

ATC course gives students a foundation-level of knowledge of the Air Traffic Controller job and the complete Air Traffic Management (ATM) system. It is the first course in Air Traffic Control students’ Initial Training

Mba in aviation management

MBA Aviation Management is a 2 year postgraduate degree course that equips students with the knowledge to manage operations, expenses, resource management of any aviation firm or airline. The areas of focus are Aviation Business, fundamentals of General Management and additional specialization in International Business, Marketing, and Finance.

Diploma in Airport Familiarisation and Security Management

Diploma in Airport Familiarisation and Security Management is a 1-year full-time Diploma level Civil Aviation course. The base qualification for which is 10+2 assessment or any equal assessment with at least 60% of imprints from a perceived board

BSC airline and airport management

BSc in Airlines & Airport Management is a three-year program available for the candidates who have completed their 12th. The program will train students in air traffic control, aviation maintenance, air carrier operations, airline operations and other airlines operations. The program will also allow students to understand the working of the airline industry. Private pilot license

Private Pilot License (PPL) is a non-commercial pilot license course of tentatively 6 to 8 months duration. Aircraft desisgn

This Aircraft Design option aims to provide a comprehensive overview of whole aircraft configuration design as well as structures and systems. A holistic teaching approach is taken to explore how the individual elements of an aircraft can be designed and integrated using up-to-date methods and techniques. You will learn to understand how to select and integrate specific systems such as fuel systems, and their effect on the aircraft as a whole.

Duration of Course

Aviation is available at undergraduate level, and usually takes three or four years to complete. You can choose to study a master’s degree in an aviation subject, which can take up to two years to complete.

Depending on your program, aviation degrees usually involve a number of practical classes, including work with aircraft. There will also be a mixture of group lectures, seminars, tutorials and personal study time.
