PTE – PEARSON TEST OF ENGLISH

Our courses are designed to focus on all the main skills that are required in the PTE exam. You would as a part of the course do regular examination practice to get acclimatized work under testing conditions. The course would also encompass homework assignments on which personalized feedback and advice would be given.
PTE academic is 3 hours long and is split into timed parts. When the time is up on the section, the test will move on automatically. There are 20 different types of tasks. Some tasks will test integrated skills (e.g., reading and speaking).

This section lasts for around 77 to 93 minutes and assess the examinees’ speaking and writing abilities. It comprises of 8 different tasks which are as follow:

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SCORE OF THE PTE TEST?
The PTE Academic test score varies from 10 to 90 on the Global Scale of English, with 10 being the lowest and 90 being the highest. The scores measures candidates’ proficiency at speaking, listening, writing and reading English language. PTE exam lets you identify your command over the language with absolute accuracy.
WHICH ONE IS EASIER PTE OR IELTS?
The IELTS and PTE tests in general have similar difficulty level. Both the tests require candidates to possess an extensive skill-set in the English language, hence none of them could be referred to as easier than the other. However, a 2020 comparison report of PTE Academic and IELTS conducted by Pearson showed that the test takers had to secure a higher score to be able to match up with an IELTS band score of 7.0-9.0.
This indicated how aspirants needed to get a comparatively higher score in PTE Academic to be equivalent to a band score of 7.0-9.0 in IELTS. Also, there are experts with similar interests maintaining how PTE-Academic could be less difficult since it does not involve any human interaction and the fact that it is completely machine-scored thus requiring lesser time to be completed. Yet, overall, both tests are equivalent to one another with respect to their toughness standards.
